Dr. David Nielsen
Physical Therapist
David is a licensed physical therapist with over 23 years of clinical experience, dedicated to helping patients eliminate, minimize, or avoid physical dysfunction so they can live active, fulfilling lives. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and spent 12 years designing computer systems before following his passion for hands-on patient care. In 2002, he received his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Rhode Island. Since then, he’s focused his continuing education on osteopathic manipulative techniques, which he integrates into personalized treatment plans to address the root causes of pain and movement limitations.
David’s goal as a PT is simple: to help people move and feel better so they can fully enjoy the activities that contribute to a fulfilling life! Whether one is recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or working to prevent future problems, he combines evidence-based care with a total-body approach to achieve lasting results.
Outside the clinic, he’s a proud father, enjoys playing the guitar, and listening to music, spending time with family and friends, and staying active while enjoying everything the outdoors has to offer. These pursuits, he says, keep him grounded in the importance of maintaining mobility and joy in everyday life! He looks forward to working with you.
