About Us

Physical Therapy in Central Massachusetts & MetroWest — Built by Family, Growing With Our Community

Concierge Physical Therapy was founded on a simple idea: patients deserve one-on-one care from a board-certified specialist, not a rotating cast of assistants and a photocopied exercise handout. That idea has grown into multiple clinics across Central Massachusetts and MetroWest — Sutton, Hopkinton, Shrewsbury, Southborough, and Northborough — and a team of physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and support staff who treat every patient like the only patient. We’re a family-owned, DPT-owned practice, and as we work toward scaling to 10 clinics by 2028, that same personal, hands-on standard of care is what we’re building around.

How We Started

Our founder & Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Sean Lordan, decided to become a physical therapist after watching his aunt, Mary Lou, navigate the healthcare system following a serious spinal cord injury. That experience shaped his belief that patients recover faster and more fully with consistent, one-on-one attention from a single, highly trained clinician rather than fragmented care spread across whichever therapist or assistant happens to be free that day.

Sean earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Northeastern University in 2012, later achieving his board certification as an Orthopedic Certified Specialist and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist credential. Early in his career he treated patients ranging from pediatric cases to professional and Olympic athletes before opening the first Concierge Physical Therapy clinic in Sutton, Massachusetts in 2018. His wife and co-owner, Brooke Lordan, joined full-time as Chief Strategy Officer in 2021, and the practice has remained family-run ever since — even as it’s grown from a single location into multiple clinics across the region.

Our Approach to Exceptional Care

We believe physical therapy should treat the whole person, not just the injured body part. That means:

  • One-on-one care with a dedicated, licensed Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant for your entire visit. Rehab aides are here to support, not lead, your appointments.
  • A hands-on, manual therapy-first approach coupled with targeted, intentional exercises to fix the root cause and create lasting results rather than just temporary pain relief.
  • Access to premium recovery tools in our clinics including Shockwave therapy, dry needling, cold plunge, infrared sauna with red light therapy, and Normatec compression, so healing isn’t limited to just your PT appointment.
  • Direct access to care: in most cases, Massachusetts patients don’t need a physician’s referral to start physical therapy with us.

Where We’re Headed

What started as one clinic has grown to six — Hopkinton, Natick, Northborough, Shrewsbury, Southborough, and Sutton — with more than 1,000 five-star Google reviews from patients across Central Massachusetts and MetroWest. And we’re not done. We’re working toward growing to 10 clinics by 2028, bringing our one-on-one, total-body model of care to more communities while investing in the therapists and staff who make it possible.

Growth, for us, isn’t limited to new locations, but building a place where physical therapists want to build a career. From day-one mentorship to leadership development for clinic directors and team leads, we invest in our people because that’s what lets us keep investing in our patients’ outcomes.
