Dr. Lauren Schmitt earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Salisbury University in 2021. Following graduation, she spent a year completing additional prerequisite coursework at Harford Community College in preparation for graduate school. She was then accepted into the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program at the University of Pittsburgh, where she graduated with her doctorate in December 2024.

Originally from Maryland, Lauren spent the first 24 years of her life there before relocating to Massachusetts in May 2025. Lauren grew up being very active and participating in sports including soccer and cross country. She is passionate about promoting a healthy and active lifestyle and brings a positive attitude and warm smile to every interaction.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time with her loved ones, staying active through exercise, reading, and staying connected with her family and friends back in Maryland. She is looking forward to connecting with her coworkers as well as learning and growing with CPT.
