Physical Therapist Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited university with a Master's or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy that is recognized by the APTA.
  • Must hold current Physical Therapy license and/or registration or be able to obtain one.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive patient care through assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning in outpatient settings.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring alignment with discharge planning and patient goals.
  • Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to deliver effective physical therapy interventions.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment processes, medical terminology, and rehabilitation exercises.
  • Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary, adhering to CPT coding standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes across various settings, including pediatrics and geriatrics.
